Hardy Elementary School is being evacuated to the Aztec football practice field. Officials stated that parents can use Canyon Crest to pick up their children.

A parent from Hardy Elementary, Bipon Shrestha, said, "We live just a block away, and the fire is right across the street. So my wife and I got in a car with our dog, trying to leave in time, but we couldn’t. Instead, I just grabbed my dog and started walking... I said I would take my son first."
