The Houston Texans' 2024

The Houston Texans' 2024 season has begun right where the 2023 season left off. Last year, Houston won the AFC South, gaining a two-game lead over the Colts halfway through the season. Having already defeated Indianapolis, the Texans hold the tiebreaker against the only other team in the division with a losing record. CJ Stroud continues to be among the league leaders in passing yards, but he will be without one of his top targets, Stefon Diggs, who is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Meanwhile, the Jets, who were looking to bolster their roster with the recent trade for Davante Adams, have lost five straight games after starting the season 2-1, placing them at the bottom of the AFC East. Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich is searching for answers following a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots, who secured their second win of the season in that game. Adams has yet to make a significant impact for the Jets, recording seven catches for 84 yards, and his reunion with Aaron Rodgers in Week 3 could be another tough challenge against Houston’s third-ranked pass defense in the NFL.
